yoga is both a life enhancing practice of natural movement and a calm presence of mind which allows us to develop an authentic connection with ourselves and the world around us. it can help us feel clearer and more energised as well as improving our strength, flexibility and vitality.

at the yoga studio, leila’s teaching is rooted in the work of TKV Desikachar and also influenced by the teaching of Vanda Scaravelli. these teachings have encouraged a creative approach to practice, inviting students to deepen their attention, responding to their own needs. the practice is fluid and easeful. students are encouraged to learn and experience yoga sensitively, safely and in the spirit of personal connection.
