being somewhere
as the yoga practice mindset changes from working towards a certain idealised posture and becomes a personal investigation of the body, of loosening the spine, creating the possibility for movement; yoga becomes personally authentic and offers the practitioner, not so much a respect of their limitations but rather a freedom to explore all their possibilities.
in yoga i am not trying to get somewhere – i am being somewhere.
is this not the epitome of authentic practise, a return to innocence?
